H.G. SNIPES was a founding partner in the firm of Cochran, Camp and Snipes, one of the longest continuously existing firms in Cobb County and the predecessor to Cochran & Edwards. H. G. lends his considerable experience to the firm on an “of counsel” basis.
He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina in 1957 and his Juris Doctorate in law from Emory University in 1965 at which time he was admitted to practice to all local and federal courts. He was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and is a former United States Naval Officer. His legal specialties for the firm are in areas of commercial transactions, wills and administration of estates estate planning and general civil matters. H.G. has earned the distinction of being an expert in estate planning and receives many referrals from colleagues for assistance in this area of law.
